Description

(c. 1950) Born and raised near Wakeley Bridge, my Dad often spent early evenings during the summer caddis hatch fishing downstream from ‘Townline landing on the AuSable river to the mouth of the south Branch and motoring back upstream. We had fresh trout for dinner whenever we wanted, before the days of restrictions and regulations. He was a master guide and fisherman on the AuSable for nearly 50 years.
