Description
The AuSable River begins about 15 miles above Grayling, Michigan where Kolka and Bradford Creeks merge–trout fishermen will find good numbers of brown and brook trout from Frederic to Grayling, however, the river is narrow in the area above Grayling. From Grayling to McMasters Bridge, the river is easily waded and canoed with many access points. Some of the best water “the Holy water” is found from Burton’s Landing to Wakeley Bridge. 20″ browns are caught during nighttime fishing below Wakeley bridge from long boats.
